MERCK mentions that “A subset of infected CD4+ lymphocytes
constitutes a reservoir of HIV that can be reactivate (e.g, if antiviral
treatment is stopped)” In essence, CD4+ lymphocytes infected with virions is
estimated to produce > 98% of Plasma HIV virions and from its Plasma, HIV
Virions are be reactivated. We are looking at the Plasma dosage and perhaps the spleen as the center of action in the replication of HIV and we are looking at the possibility that HIV survive due to the Blood Plasma for reason that the virus is blood virus.
